Insulation

New insulation in offices is important because it makes buildings warmer in winter and cooler in summer. Good insulation reduces heat loss, which means less energy is needed to heat or cool the office. This helps lower energy bills and reduces carbon emissions, making the workplace more environmentally friendly. Better insulation also creates a more comfortable environment for staff, improving wellbeing and helping people work more effectively.

Recycle IT are having new insulation installed at present which is causing some worthwhile temporary difficulties.

During the work to date, there is noise, dust and disruption to normal office activities. Some staff needed to move desks or work in different areas while the work is being completed.

Others are working from home. Access to certain rooms is limited, and there are short periods of inconvenience for employees and visitors including power, phones and internet disruption. Please do bare with us during this time

However, the long-term benefits are much greater than the short-term disruption. Once the insulation is installed, the office becomes more energy efficient and comfortable throughout the year.
